This Privacy Policy explains how Training Today, operated by Betoli Ltd (“we”, “us”, or “our”), handles information when you use the Training Today mobile application (the “App”) and its optional connected services.
1. Overview
Training Today is designed to minimise data collection. Most processing occurs on your device. Optional connected features may require us and our service providers to receive, process and store information on servers. We only use that information to provide the features you explicitly enable. Describing a connection in this policy does not mean it is available in every app version.
2. Information We Collect
a) Personal Information
The App's core features do not require you to create an account or provide your name, address or date of birth. If you enable a connected service, we may store that service's account identifier and a Training Today connection identifier. These identifiers link health and training records to your connection, even if you have not provided your name or email address.
b) Health and Fitness Data
If you grant permission, the App may access health or fitness data (for example, via Apple Health). This data:
- Is processed locally on your device, except where server-side processing is needed for a connected feature you explicitly enable
- Is not transmitted to us unless required for a feature you explicitly enable
- Is never sold or used for advertising
3. Third-Party Integrations
If you choose to connect the App to a third-party service (such as a training or fitness platform):
- We may process and transmit limited data on your behalf to fulfil that request
- Data is shared with the service you authorise and the service providers needed to operate that connection
- Data is shared only for the purpose you initiate (for example, sending workouts)
We do not retain third-party data beyond what is necessary to provide the connected features you enable, including any ongoing history or personal baseline those features need.
Connecting Garmin
If you choose to connect your Garmin account, we receive the HRV, sleep, resting heart rate and activity data you permit. We use it for your readiness, history and training recommendations. We send the workouts and dates you choose to Garmin Connect for syncing with your device.
Sharing continues until you disconnect or withdraw permission. We store your Garmin account link, encrypted connection credentials and the records needed for these features using Vercel for hosting and Supabase for storage. Data goes to another connected service only if you enable that sharing.
We never sell Garmin data or use it for advertising. We do not send Garmin data to AI services. Garmin data and anything derived from it will not be used to train, evaluate or improve AI models.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
We process data under the following legal bases:
- Your consent, where you enable optional features or integrations
- Legitimate interests, where minimal processing is required to operate the App
5. Data Retention
We retain data only for as long as necessary to provide the requested functionality. For Garmin, this includes records needed for your connected history and personal readiness baseline while you use those features.
You can revoke permissions or disable integrations at any time. Disconnecting Garmin ends future sharing and revokes the connection. You can separately request deletion of previously stored records, including associated derived records, by contacting us. Retained backup copies are removed through the applicable backup retention process, subject to any lawful retention requirement.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal data.

7. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

You can exercise these rights by contacting support@trainingtodayapp.com. You can also withdraw Garmin sharing permissions in Garmin Connect or disconnect the integration in Training Today when available.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
