  • Izzy Davis - Athlete Ambassador

Izzy has always been into sport and very goal oriented.

Growing up as a gymnast, Izzy reached National level tumbling before university where she found other hobbies to keep her focused such as climbing Kilimanjaro and cycling from London to Paris.

She began triathlon in 2018 at age 23 while looking for a new challenge, having done some running and swimming growing up, seemed like the right time to rekindle those skills.

Izzy qualified for the GB Age-Group Aquathlon team at her first Aquathlon race in 2019, she raced in the GB kit for the first time in Romania later that year.

She has since qualified to race for GB in the standard distance Triathlon and Duathlon European Championships, along with the World Championships for Triathlon, Duathlon and Aquathlon.

With the guidance of coach Fran Bungay, Izzy’s next goal is to race middle distance triathlon with Ironman 70.3 Weymouth on the horizon for her 2021 end of season goal.

  • Will Oldham - Athlete Ambassador

Will played everything he could whilst growing up, with football being his primary sport throughout childhood. Exposure at university to the world of elite sport led him to a career in football and also saw a change in focus for his own training from team to individual endurance sport.

Inspired by a friend he set about creating and completing a multi-day ultramarathon in 2015 which then led to exploring the world of triathlon. His first race was Ironman Maastricht in 2016 and this was more than enough for Will to catch the triathlon bug.

Since then he’s raced Ironman Nice along with a number of Olympic distance triathlons and half marathons. Linking up with Fran and the Goalspecific Team has been part of the next step in Will’s development with a focus on racing 70.3 and building back towards 140.6 this season.

  • Rebecca Goodwin - Athlete Ambassador

Rebecca is both an active talented amateur triathlete and award winning coach.

Splitting her time across training, coaching athletes on a 121 basis, being Head Coach of one of London’s largest triathlon clubs and working in the world of branding (outside of triathlon!) to work with companies and individuals to aspire and achieve their goals (as well as her own!).

Across the board its vital to have both experience and knowledge to help make proactive and reactive decisions in the right direction and Training Today app is a great example of where data can help in this process to make easy and informed decisions.

  • Tracey Thomas - Athlete Ambassador

Tracey has competed in long Distance Triathlons, such as Ironman Wales, Outlaw and Long Course weekend. She was turning 50 and wanted to challenge herself even further, so jumping off a boat off Alctraz Island as part of ‘Escape of Alctraz’ gave her a chance to look at events that further challenged her as an endurance athlete. She also raised money for a local charity by running 186 miles of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path!

Tracey recently completed Ultra Trail Snowdonia running 87 miles with 27,000 ft of climbing and is now using the Training Today App to help plan and avoid overtraining for future events.

“I’m really excited to be working with the team and how Training Today will aid my training for endurance events”, she said.

She is currently targeting a UTMB 100k run in Nice in September.
